Vestas EnVentus wind turbine
SEOUL -- Vestas has secured a 43 MW order from DAEMYOUNG ENERGY CO., LTD for the Gokseong Green Wind Power Project in South Korea.
The order includes supply and supervision of installation of seven V162-6.2 MW EnVentus turbines and a 20-year Active Output Management 5000 (AOM5000) service agreement to ensure optimised performance and long-term energy production for the windfarm. Turbine delivery is planned for the first quarter of 2027 with commissioning scheduled to begin in the third quarter of 2028.
The V162-6.2 MW turbine is part of Vestas' EnVentus platform, which brings next-generation technology to the market through modularity. The platform is designed to deliver higher energy production, reduced variability in cost of energy, and greater flexibility to meet customer and market-specific needs.
