HONG KONG — The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) organised the world’s largest one‑stop jewellery marketplace in early March under its established “Two Shows, Two Venues” format. The 12th Hong Kong International Diamond, Gem & Pearl Show was held from 2 to 6 March at AsiaWorld‑Expo, and the 42nd Hong Kong International Jewellery Show took place from 4 to 8 March at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.
Jenny Koo, Deputy Executive Director of the HKTDC, stated that the twin jewellery shows brought together about 4,000 exhibitors from more than 40 countries and regions, with nearly 70% coming from outside Hong Kong. She emphasised that the events highlighted Hong Kong’s role as an international trade capital and jewellery sourcing hub.
