AesMed to Participate in WCHR 2026 and Promote 1111 Hair Care Day Campaign Worldwide

The Korean hair loss care company will introduce AGF39, SGF57, and CytoMesopecia at WCHR 2026 in Seoul while expanding a patient-centered global awareness campaign.

SEOUL -- AesMed Co., Ltd., a Korean company specializing in science-based hair loss care solutions, announced its plan to participate in the 14th World Congress for Hair Research (WCHR 2026), to be held in Seoul from May 28 to 31, 2026.

Through its participation, AesMed aims to introduce its professional hair loss care solutions to the global hair research and dermatology community, while promoting the ‘1111 Hair Care Day Campaign’ as a public initiative that raises awareness of hair loss and encourages greater empathy and support for patients.

Under the theme ‘Awakening the Soul of Hair Science’, WCHR 2026 will bring together dermatologists, hair researchers, medical professionals, academic experts, and industry leaders from around the world. The congress is expected to serve as an important platform for sharing recent clinical trial outcomes, experimental studies, scientific discoveries, and collaborative strategies in hair research.

At the congress, AesMed plans to present its science-based hair loss care solutions developed through more than 20 years of experience in the field. Key solutions to be introduced include AGF39, SGF57, and CytoMesopecia, a cytokines-based mesotherapy approach designed to support professional hair loss care. AesMed continues to focus on connecting scientific understanding with practical clinical application, while expanding its global partnerships.

Alongside its product and technology presentation, AesMed will highlight the 1111 Hair Care Day Campaign, which was created to raise awareness of hair loss as a medical, emotional, and social issue. The campaign designates November 11 as Hair Care Day, while the period from October 11 to November 11 is observed as Hair Care Season.

The campaign promotes awareness, empathy, knowledge sharing, and practical support for people experiencing hair loss. It also reflects AesMed’s belief that progress in hair science should ultimately lead to better understanding and more meaningful support for patients.

Hair loss is often regarded as a cosmetic concern, but for many patients, it can affect confidence, emotional well-being, social relationships, and overall quality of life. Beyond treatment itself, patients may also need accurate information, emotional understanding, and a more supportive social environment.

The 1111 Hair Care Day Campaign began in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic, when AesMed started supporting children with alopecia areata through hair prosthesis donation. Since then, the campaign has continued annually. In 2024, it expanded through press releases, KOL collaboration, and video content, and in 2025, it further developed through cooperation with patient groups and online communities.

With WCHR 2026 taking place in Seoul, AesMed sees a meaningful opportunity to introduce the campaign to the global hair science community and encourage broader international participation.
