The consulting firm HCN HolzConsulting(R), which is well known in the European timber industry, is authorised to realize a new boosting market strategy for a German top-quality brand. The client of HCN, the German brand, has a long history. The enterprise has been successfully serving the timber market over generations now. The new market strategy responds to changes that have taken place in the market and in customer behaviour - and is set to be very successful on the international market.

At the assignment event held on 13 January 2015, HCN business manager Marcus R. Niedermeier pointed out that the new strategy of his client could have a great effect on the range of offers on the market: ‘The ideas of the new marketing strategy are so simple and powerful that we are also forced to reorganise some of the traditional elements. And we need to do this now - with new shareholder structures to support the company management on the international market.’ This new corporate strategy explains why HCN must handle the negotiations in process in a strictly confidential way - especially in view of the fact that competitors may be keen to learn about new methods of solving the problems the current timber market is facing. ‘Maybe they will find out,’ HCN manager Niedermeier asserted with a realistic view of the big players on the German market, ‘but I’m very happy about one great strength that no competitor is able to copy', he said, mentioning that he is looking forward to the presentations in Germany.

HCN will concentrate its activity mainly on the foreign financial investor market. But the offer is also targeting established manufacturers and producers in other areas, such as the furniture or automotive industries, and who wish to expand their production portfolio or their respective capacities - both in terms of technology and size. This top-quality brand and its new strategy could support their business, in general, as well as help them expand their own business activities into the German market.
