YONGIN-- August 03, 2021 --SurplusGLOBAL has now officially announced the relocation of its new headquarters in Yongin-si at the extraordinary general meeting of shareholders held at the Semiconductor Equipment Cluster on 30th July 2021.

The Semiconductor Equipment Cluster has a gross floor space of 68,317 sqm, which is three times larger than its existing warehouses located in Osan-si, this new building boasts a clean room of 2181 sqm and an air-controlled warehouse of 59,504 sqm.

“Semiconductor Equipment Cluster plan was what we have been dreaming about during the past decade and it has finally become a reality” said Bruce Kim, SurplusGLOBAL’s CEO. “The Semiconductor Equipment Cluster’s massive size and optimal layout allow us to provide a large-scale cleanroom and additional solutions for our customers. We have over 1000 pre-owned semiconductor equipment available for inspection or demonstration which enables us to create a one-stop platform for the secondary semiconductor equipment industry. Indeed, our facility may be capable of producing and selling 300mm Thin Film Wafers. Our 300mm R&D Test Bed will allow us to provide various analysis services for product performance evaluation for semiconductor parts companies, rental of customized research space, equipment training center, venture incubation business, and semiconductor education business.” he added.

Finally, he also mentioned, “As a global hub for pre-owned semiconductor equipment, services, and components, we will strive to build an important infrastructure for the global semiconductor ecosystem.”
