SEOUL --
ACT GAMES (Co-CEOs: Sei Jin Jung, Derek Lee) announced on March 7 that it has signed an agreement with
Sanrio Korea (CEO: Kiyoshi Saito) to develop a game using characters IP. Through the agreement, ACT GAMES will launch a casual mobile game collaborating with the ‘Sanrio Characters’ IP later this year.
Celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, Hello Kitty remains one of Sanrio's most beloved and iconic characters worldwide. In addition, Sanrio IPs were ranked among the top 5 favorite characters across all ages according to the ‘2023 User Survey regarding Characters’ published by the Korea Creative Content Agency last year.
“We are committed to developing games to bring joy to all users,” said Sei Jin Jung and Derek Lee, co-CEOs of ACT GAMES. “We will do our best to meet the expectations of our users as we closely collaborate with IPs that are loved around the world,” they added.
More details about the game will be announced later.
