SEOUL -- ROBOTWORLD 2024, focusing on robotics from A to Z, is offering an early registration discount to companies interested in participating, before the event.

The Korea Association of Robot Industry (KAR) announced an early application discount promotion for ROBOTWORLD. Companies applying for booths by June 30th are eligible for discounts of up to 20% on booth costs.

ROBOTWORLD, recognized as Korea‘s largest robotics exposition, is hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry, and Energy and co-organized by the Korea Association of Robot Industry, the Korea Institute for Robot Industry Advancement, and the Institute of Control, Robotics, and Systems. This year’s edition will take place over four days (October 23-26) in Halls 1 to 3 (32,157㎡) of Exhibition Center 1 at KINTEX in Ilsan.

ROBOTWORLD will feature a diverse array of robotics companies, encompassing everything from manufacturing robotics and smart factories to automation, professional and personal service robots, autonomous driving and logistics robots, medical, rehabilitation, and defense robots, Robotics as a Service (RaaS), robot parts, and software. The event boasts an unprecedented scale, with participation from a total of 300 companies - 250 domestic firms and 50 international enterprises - occupying approximately 900 booths.

Following last year's success with approximately 42,000 visitors, the ROBOTWORLD exhibition is expected to draw an even larger crowd this year. Leading Korean robotics companies, including Yujin Robot, Yuil Robotics, Wonik Robotics, and Jookang Robotech, have already committed to participating. The event will also be held concurrently with the International Robot Business Conference and the International Robot Contest. A variety of events are planned for attendees, including export consultations for business matchmaking, a startup innovation day to attract investment, and a networking party connecting participants with affiliated organizations and journalists.

“Given the strong interest from companies seeking to participate in ROBOTWORLD,” said an official from the Korea Association of Robot Industry, “we anticipate a record number of applications during the early application discount period. To further enrich the experience for both participants and visitors, the association is exploring additional measures, such as organizing an overseas country pavilion for leading players in the global robotics industry.”
